Monitor Access Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
This policy explains what a monitor can see when a program (an accelerator, studio, or similar) invites them to follow a cohort on LaunchValid, and the rules a monitor agrees to. It works with the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. LaunchValid is operated by AmpFi App LLC.
Who this is for
A monitor is a person a program invites to read the research its founders produce, so the program can track progress across a cohort without taking part in each project. A monitor does not run the program and cannot spend the program's shared credits.
What a monitor can see
A monitor can read the research sections of each founder's project in the cohort: the market, customer, competition, revenue, and the other written sections.
What a monitor cannot see
A monitor cannot see a founder's private notebook, their chat with the assistant, their pinned insights, or any draft that is not a research section. Those stay private to the founder and the people the founder invites directly. A monitor cannot edit a project, comment on it, spend credits, or change anything in the program.
The rules a monitor agrees to
- Use what you read only to support the founders and the program.
- Keep each founder's research confidential. Do not copy it, share it outside the program, or use it for your own venture.
- Treat every founder's work as their own. Nothing you read here transfers any ownership to you or the program.
How access is turned on
Access opens only after two acceptances: a program admin accepts this policy for the program, and each monitor accepts it for themselves. Either side can be recorded first. Until both are in place, the cohort stays closed.
Ending access
A program can remove a monitor at any time, which ends their access immediately. A monitor can ask to be removed at any time.
