Competitor watch
Know what your competitors actually did, not what someone thinks they are planning.
What it is
You pick up to five companies from the ones your research already found, and we check their pricing, positioning, changelog and careers pages on the schedule you choose. Every change links the page it was read on, so you can go and see it for yourself.
Why it matters
It is the one thing here that gets better the longer you stay, because it depends on having watched a market over months rather than on knowing about it. It is also what you do with us after you launch, which until now was nothing.
A quiet week costs you nothing
Detection is a comparison, not a judgement, so a period where nothing moved runs no model and charges nothing, and says so plainly. That is the point rather than a saving: it is what makes the weeks that do report worth opening. A rotating testimonial, a footer date or an injected script is not news, and none of them will reach you.
What people are complaining about
We read the review sites and forums where your competitors are discussed and report complaints as counts with their sources, never as a sentiment score. A number you cannot check is a number you cannot act on. Where several people in one thread want the thing you are building, we point you at the thread so you can answer them in the open.
The teardown
When enough has happened to be worth explaining, you can buy a teardown that reads the whole record alongside your own research and says what the pattern means for what you build next, and in what order. The price is shown before you press anything, and you are charged that or less.
What it will never do
It will never tell you a competitor's motive or strategy: we saw a page change, not a plan. It names no individual person. And every statement about a company carries the dated page it was read on, so you can disagree with us.
Common questions
How often does it check?
On the cadence you choose, and you can change it or pause the watch at any time. Pricing pages reward a monthly look, a changelog rewards a weekly one, and there is no benefit to checking a careers page more often than once a month.
What pages does it watch?
Pricing, positioning, changelog and careers, for up to five companies picked from the ones your research already found. Every change we report links the page it was read on, so you can go and check it yourself.
What is a teardown?
A paid read of the whole record alongside your own research, saying what the pattern means for what you build next and in what order. It is offered only when enough has happened to be worth explaining, and the price is shown before you press anything.
