What it is

A short vertical video, made in the same place your posts are, from the same research. You pick how long it should be and whether the words are spoken or on screen, and an arc comes back with one scene per beat. Approve it and the rest is made for you: a photograph for every scene, the words timed to the script, music underneath, and a file at the shape the feed wants. You download it, or schedule it to your connected accounts like any other piece.

Words on screen is the default, and that is not the cheap option

Most vertical video is watched with the sound off, so a video whose meaning survives muted is the one that gets watched. It also removes the part most likely to sound wrong: no synthetic voice means no accent that misses and no pace that drags. A narrator is there if you want one, chosen before anything is written, because a line written to be spoken and a line written to be read in two seconds are different crafts.

The price is on the button, and it is a ceiling

Every quality carries its own price where you press it, and every one is available on every plan: nothing here is locked behind an upgrade. The cheapest moves the camera across still photographs rather than filming anything, and it says so, so nobody buys it expecting movement. Whatever you are quoted is the most you are charged, and a scene a vendor refuses is not charged for at all.

The screen says how long before you press

Each quality carries its own honest range, from about four to eight minutes for the quickest to ten to twenty for the finest, because most of the wait is an outside service filming the scenes and their pace is not ours. The range for the quality you picked is on the screen before you press rather than discovered while you wait, and while it runs the screen names what is happening now instead of spinning. A video whose scenes are still coming can be put together with the ones that are ready, as many times as you like, and putting it together again never costs anything.

When a scene comes out wrong, you say what you saw

Video goes wrong in ways a photograph does not: two objects grow into each other, a hand comes out strange, a face slides as the camera moves. The thing nobody guesses is that asking again changes nothing on its own, because the same request produces the same kind of answer. So each control takes your own words. Say the mug melted into her hand and the scene is filmed again with less happening in the frame, which is where movement goes wrong. Say the lettering on the packet is not real words and the photograph is framed away from it. Say the line is wrong and it is written and spoken again while the video keeps its length.

The same person in every scene

Agree a character once, in your project library, and they are the person in your videos and your pictures from then on: the same face, the same age, the same clothes, whichever way the camera is pointed. Five views of them are made when you approve them, so a full length shot is not a close portrait with a body invented under it. Without one, each scene is still made to match the ones either side of it, but the person in them is nobody in particular.

What it will never do

It will never put a person on screen speaking words they did not say. It will never draw your logo, because a logo a model draws is not your logo. It will never invent a figure your research cannot support. And it will never post anything you have not approved.

Common questions

How long does a video actually take?

That depends on the quality you choose and how many scenes it has: about four to eight minutes at the quickest, and ten to twenty at the finest. Most of that is an outside service filming the scenes, which is why each quality carries a range rather than a countdown. The screen tells you the range for the quality you picked before you press, and says what is happening while it runs.

What do I do if a scene comes out wrong?

Say what you saw. Each control takes your own words, and that is what makes the second attempt different from the first: a scene asked for again with nothing said comes back the same way, because it is the same request. Remake films the scene again, New shot replaces the photograph, and Change rewrites the line. Only the one scene is remade, never the whole video.

Can I put a real person in it?

You can agree a character in your project library and they will be the same person in every scene, drawn rather than filmed. What this will never do is put somebody on screen speaking words they did not say.

Do I need to write the script?

No. It is written from research about your own market, which is why the first line tends to be about your customer rather than about you. You can say what the video should be about first if you have something specific in mind, and it is written around that instead.

Where can I post it?

Anywhere. You get the file to download and keep. Every account you connect takes video, so a finished one can go out on a schedule like any other piece, and the vertical feeds show it at full height. Each one also gets a public link you can send to anybody.
