Deep, cited business research

Turn your idea into structured, sourced research across 15 areas.

What it is

When you start a project, LaunchValid researches your idea across 15 areas: market and demand, customer, competitors, your differentiated offer, revenue model, costs, compliance, legal, tax, how you reach customers, your first version, risks, financials, and a validation plan. Each section is written in plain language a first-time founder can act on.

Why it matters

Most founders build first and learn the hard way. Structured research up front tells you whether there is a real, reachable customer with a painful problem, before you spend months and thousands of dollars. It replaces guesswork with evidence.

How it works

You answer a few questions about your idea (or import what you already have). We search authoritative sources, synthesize the findings, and label every claim as a sourced fact or an assumption to test, with citations you can click. Research stays current as you learn and add context.

How we keep it honest

This is the part no instant validator does. Every section shows its receipts: how many sources it cites, how many are from the last 30 days, and how many claims are assumptions for you to test rather than settled facts. Then an automated check reads the section back against its own sources and flags any claim it could not tie to one, so you know exactly what to double-check instead of trusting a wall of confident text. If something still looks off, one tap flags it, and you can rebuild that section and run the check again. The tool tells you what it is unsure about. That is the difference between evidence and a guess dressed up as a score.

What you get

A living research workspace you can read, question, share, and export. It is the foundation for your action plan, your concept, your fundraising materials, and any experts you hire.

Common questions

Is this a one-time score or ongoing research?

Ongoing. Your research is a living workspace that stays current as you answer questions, import notes, and add context, not a single report you generate once and file away.

How do I know the research is real and not made up?

Every claim is labeled a sourced fact or an assumption to test, with citations you can click. An automated groundedness check also flags any claim it could not tie back to a cited source, so you see exactly what to verify.

Do I need to be technical or good at prompting?

No. You answer a few plain questions about your idea, or import what you already have, and the 15 sections are written for a first-time, non-technical founder.

Can I export it?

Yes. Pro and Business export to Word, PDF, and Google Docs; every plan can read and share the research in the app.
