Your workspace, not your cofounder. You own your ideas. We process them only to deliver LaunchValid. You control who sees your research. We do not use your private projects to train public AI models or to build competing businesses.
LaunchValid is a hosted workspace. We store and process your project content to run the service (databases, file storage, and AI providers). We are honest about this: we do not claim we cannot access your data. What we commit to is limited, purposeful use and the controls below.
1. Your ownership
You keep ownership of your business ideas, research text, imports, comments, and other content you submit. LaunchValid does not claim your intellectual property. See Terms of Service §8.1.
2. How we use your data
We host, store, and process your content to provide the Service, including running the AI features you request. We send content to third-party AI providers under their API data terms. We do not sell your personal information. See Privacy Policy.
3. Who can see your research

| Chat-only members | Notebook chat only, not your full research documents. |
| Your team owner (Business teams) | If your project is paid from a team credit pool, the account owner sees its title and how many credits it has used. They do not see the research inside unless you share it with them. |
| Marketplace sellers | Your task summary and statement of work only, not your full private research, unless you choose to paste it into the task. |
| LaunchValid staff | Only when necessary for support, abuse investigation, disputes, or legal compliance, not routine browsing. |
4. What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your private project content to train public foundation models.
- We do not use your submitted ideas to build or launch competing businesses.
- We do not share your full research with sellers unless you publish a task.
5. Your controls
- Invite teammates with explicit roles and source scope.
- Preview what sellers see before you publish a task.
- Export your research (Pro and Business) or request export and deletion from Settings → Privacy & data.
- Delete your account. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.
