What it is

A private AI workspace that answers questions about your project using only your research, with inline citations. Ask it what to do next and get concrete, ordered actions grounded in your evidence.

Why it matters

Your research is only useful if you can interrogate it. The notebook turns a pile of documents into a conversation, so you can make decisions quickly without losing the evidence behind them.

How it works

Ask a question and the notebook grounds every factual claim in your sources, cites them inline, and focuses on executable next steps. It reads across your whole project, and the sources behind each answer are listed beside it. On Pro and Business you can pin the answers worth keeping.

For collaborators

On Pro and Business you can add a teammate or a builder and choose which research sections they can read, so they ask questions in context without seeing your full private research. The notebook answers them from the sections you allowed and nothing else, and it leaves your action plan out unless you shared that too.

Common questions

Does it make things up?

It answers from your own research and cites the section behind each factual claim, so you can click a citation and read the source it came from. It is told never to invent facts, numbers, competitors, or sources, and to say when something is genuinely not in your research. Before you have any research, it says so instead of answering.

Can I keep the good answers?

On Pro and Business you can pin an answer so it stays with the project. Every plan can read and copy answers.

Can I stop it reading a section?

Not for your own notebook, which reads across your whole project. Scoping applies to people you invite on Pro and Business: you pick the research sections each one can read, and by default they can read all of them. Limiting someone to certain sections also leaves them out of your action plan, which is written from all of them at once, and there is a separate switch to share it with them when you want to.

Is my notebook private?

Yes. It is yours, and a program monitor cannot read it. If a program wants to run a live working session on your project, that is a separate shared thread and it cannot open until you accept that session. Your own editors can start a shared session on your project too.
