Concept studio

See a clickable prototype of your product, and its problems, while changing it is still free.

What it is

The fastest way to see your product. Concept Studio turns your research into wireframes, three brand directions, and a polished, full-color clickable prototype, in three stages you approve one at a time. You are never handed a finished thing to accept or reject: you shape each stage before the next one is built on top of it. No designer, and no prompt craft either.

Why it matters

Seeing a real, clickable version of your product surfaces problems that a document never will, and gives you something concrete to show customers, teammates, and builders, before you commit to building.

How it works

First you get wireframes, the layout of every screen with the styling left out, so you settle what goes where while it is still cheap to move. Click anywhere on the preview to leave a comment attached to that exact element, and apply your comments to have it rebuilt. Approve the screens and choose your colors, and you get three brand directions to pick from. Choose one and your full-color prototype is built from it, with your screens and comments carried across every stage. You can comment on the prototype too, and each round of changes uses credits with the estimate shown before it runs.

On your first project, this runs for you

Setup takes your screens through all three stages on its own: it approves the layouts, picks the brand direction closest to the color you gave when you signed up (or pauses for you to choose, if you said you wanted to pick your look yourself), and builds your prototype, at no cost in credits. You can comment on and rebuild any of it afterward, exactly as this page describes. Every project you start after the first works the hands-on way, with you approving each stage before the next is built.

From concept to build

When you approve the prototype, you can send it straight to the marketplace as design and development tasks, with a scoped brief that vetted builders bid on.

Buy it once, without a subscription

If all you want is the branding, you can buy the Brand Kit on its own: three brand directions, and a downloadable asset pack for the one you pick with the wordmark, palette, type spec, and a one-page brand guide. See the brand kit page for the price and to start one.

Common questions

Do I have to know how to design or write prompts?

No. It reads your research and does the design work. Your job is to say what is wrong, in plain words, by clicking the thing you want changed. There is nothing to prompt and no designer to hire.

How do I change something I do not like?

Turn on comment mode and click the exact element you want changed, then say what you want in your own words. Apply your comments and that stage is rebuilt with them. You can do this at every stage, as many times as you need.

Why do I have to approve each stage?

Because every stage is built on the one before it. A screen that is wrong becomes a look that is wrong becomes a prototype that is wrong, and you would only find out at the end. Approving as you go means a correction costs you one stage instead of all three. The one exception is your first project, where setup carries the stages through for you and you comment on the result afterward.

Is it a real clickable prototype?

Yes, a full-color prototype you can click through and share, generated from your own research, not a static mockup.

What happens after I like the design?

You can send it to the vetted marketplace as scoped design and development tasks that reviewed builders bid on.
